Job Summary

Accenture Strategy & Consulting is seeking a skilled Marketing Automation Specialist to configure and deploy automated campaigns and journeys that enable scalable lifecycle execution with high accuracy and reuse. This role sits at the intersection of technical precision and marketing delivery, owning the build of customer journeys, personalisation logic, and channel configurations across EDM, push, and SMS.

The candidate will maintain reusable templates and components, support deployment and monitoring, and continuously reduce manual effort through automation. This role supports a cross-functional operating model, collaborating closely across strategy, lifecycle execution, activation, creative enablement, analytics, and QA to deliver measurable marketing outcomes.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Build & Manage Automation Journeys: Design and configure end-to-end customer journeys, trigger logic, and personalisation rules for CRM execution across EDM, push, and SMS channels.
  • Template & Content Configuration: Configure templates, decision logic, dynamic content, and channel settings per campaign brief, ensuring accuracy and adherence to brand guidelines.
  • Reusable Component Development: Maintain a library of reusable templates and components to reduce campaign cycle time, improve consistency, and accelerate deployment across teams.
  • Deployment, Monitoring & Optimisation: Support end-to-end campaign deployment, monitor performance post-launch, and drive continuous improvement to reduce manual effort through automation.
  • Troubleshooting & Cross-functional Coordination: Identify and resolve build issues; coordinate fixes with QA and adjacent technology teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery.
  • Governance & Documentation: Document configurations, dependencies, and build processes to maintain governance standards and enable repeatable, scalable delivery.

Professional & Technical Skills

  • Proven hands-on experience with marketing automation platforms and CRM delivery (6–9+ years), with the ability to build complex journeys and trigger-based campaigns from scratch.
  • Deep expertise in journey building, trigger logic, and personalisation across EDM, push, and SMS channels.
  • Strong understanding of template configuration, dynamic content rules, and channel-specific settings.
  • Demonstrated release discipline with structured deployment processes, QA coordination, and version control practices.
  • Strong troubleshooting capability to identify root causes of build or delivery failures and coordinate resolution with technical teams.
  • Familiarity with API/integration concepts and data flows between marketing platforms and CRM systems.
  • Knowledge of email deliverability concepts and consent/preference management frameworks is advantageous.
  • Ability to document configurations clearly to support governance, audit, and team knowledge transfer.
