Gumloop is a Vancouver-based no-code AI automation platform, founded in 2023, that lets non-technical employees build and deploy AI agents to automate workflows across enterprise tools.
Gumloop builds a no-code AI automation platform that lets employees assemble AI agents and automate complex workflows without writing code. Users drag, drop and connect modular components on a canvas to automate tasks such as managing CRM data, analysing support tickets and preparing meeting briefs. The platform reports more than 50,000 weekly active users. Its agents also deploy natively into Slack, Microsoft Teams, email and WhatsApp, where they operate as virtual teammates that colleagues converse with directly.
The engineering surface is unusually broad for a company of its age. The stack spans LLM-powered automation, agent development, conversational interfaces and drag-and-drop workflow construction, delivered against an enterprise security posture that includes SOC 2 Type II and GDPR compliance. Named customers include Shopify, Ramp, Gusto, Samsara, Instacart and Opendoor, spanning e-commerce, fintech, customer support and sales operations. For engineers accustomed to working close to customers, the deployments place them at the intersection of model behaviour, workflow design and the operating realities of large non-technical teams.
Founded in 2023 and headquartered in Vancouver, Canada, Gumloop emerged from the Y Combinator W24 cohort and has since raised $70m across Seed, Series A and Series B rounds, with backing from Benchmark, First Round Capital, Nexus Ventures and Shopify Ventures. The stated mission is to make everyone an AI engineer: to democratise access to AI automation for non-technical teams rather than concentrate it among specialists.
