Kodesage builds an AI-powered platform that helps enterprises understand, operate, and modernize legacy systems. The Kodesage Platform captures collective organisational knowledge into a single living knowledge base, combining code, documentation and tickets into one hub that updates automatically as code evolves. From that base it offers AI-powered navigation of legacy knowledge, dependency mapping, auto-generation of missing documentation, accelerated bug fixes and automated regression testing - the daily work of engineers who inherit systems nobody fully understands.

The problem is a demanding one, and the company is staffed accordingly. The founding team brings more than 18 years of software engineering experience and previously built Sonrisa, a 300-person consultancy specialising in legacy systems. That grounding shapes an enterprise-first approach: the platform supports on-premise and air-gapped deployments to meet compliance and data-security requirements in regulated industries. Kodesage serves enterprises with legacy systems across the United States and Europe.

Traction is real rather than theoretical: paying customers are already on board, with multiple pilots under way. The company is backed by VentureFriends, Portfolion Capital Partners and angel investors including Christian Szegedy, co-founder of xAI.
