Loop builds economic infrastructure for logistics through an AI-native data platform that consolidates fragmented supply chain information into a unified foundation. Founded in 2021 by former Uber Freight executives Matt McKinney and Shaosu Liu, the company has raised $65 million to address a structural inefficiency in how enterprises manage transportation spend and visibility.
The platform automates freight and parcel audits across truck, parcel, ocean, and air transportation using proprietary document extraction technology (DUX) and domain-specific AI models. Loop's customers - including Michael Kors, Dell, Under Armour, General Mills, and Tyson Foods - use the system to recover freight spend typically lost to overpayments and errors, whilst gaining real-time shipment visibility and automating payments across their logistics operations.
Loop's technical approach centres on converting unstructured logistics data into actionable intelligence. The platform integrates with existing supply chain systems to extract, normalise, and analyse transportation documents and shipment records, enabling enterprises to optimise freight spend control and operational efficiency at scale.
