Medeloop builds an AI-powered clinical research platform that spans the full research lifecycle: grant discovery and funding, real-world evidence generation, and point-of-care intelligence. Founded in 2021 and originating from Stanford University, the company is headquartered in San Francisco with an office in Montreal, and has raised $24 million from General Catalyst, Inovia Capital, Maven Ventures, Icon Ventures and Healthier Capital.

The engineering work sits at the intersection of several demanding domains - machine learning, natural language processing applied to grant and proposal writing, clinical research informatics, healthcare data analytics and population health analytics. The product suite comprises Analytics, for real-world evidence generation from patient data; EvidenceKit, which provides access to all-payer claims data covering more than 180 million real-world patient records; Grants, for AI-assisted grant discovery and proposal writing; and Care, for population health management and patient intelligence.

The platform is deployed at institutions including Stanford Medicine, Duke, Hartford Healthcare, Cedars-Sinai, NYU and UC San Diego, serving the healthcare, clinical research, life sciences, academic medicine and population health verticals. The stated mission is to help clinical researchers and healthcare teams generate and use medical evidence more efficiently, thoroughly and productively.
