OpenLoop Health provides white-label digital health infrastructure powering virtual care for healthcare organisations across all 50 states.
OpenLoop Health builds the invisible machinery behind American virtual care. Founded in 2020, the company operates a white-label digital health infrastructure platform: healthcare organisations supply the brand and the patients, and OpenLoop supplies everything else - the telehealth systems, revenue cycle management, provider credentialing and licensing, diagnostic imaging, regulatory and legal support, and practice management that make delivery possible. For engineers, the appeal is a rare combination of scope and consequence: the systems they build are exercised at national scale.
That scale is not theoretical. OpenLoop's network comprises more than 20,000 certified clinicians spanning over 30 specialties, and the platform facilitates upwards of 250,000 patient visits a month across all 50 states. Coverage extends to more than 600 insurance plans, including Medicare and Medicaid. The technical domains at stake - health infrastructure, virtual care platforms, revenue cycle management, credentialing and licensing systems, and diagnostic imaging - are among the most demanding in software: heavily regulated, unforgiving of error, and consequential for patients in underserved rural communities, the population whose lack of access prompted the company's founding.
OpenLoop describes its culture in terms of autonomy, competence, and belonging, with a flat structure in which ideas are expected from every quarter. The company is mission-driven rather than growth-theatrical, and its stated aim is measurable impact on how healthcare is delivered.
