AI Forward Deployed Engineer | $120K-$150K + Hybrid + Equity | AI-Based Outage Intelligence Company

$120K – $150K YearlyKing of Prussia, Pennsylvania, United States (Hybrid)Full-time2d ago

The Forward Deployed Engineer will work across Engineering, Customer Success, AI initiatives, and customer-facing projects to solve technical problems, build AI automations, improve workflows, and accelerate customer success.

You may spend one part of your day helping a customer integrate with the platform, another part building AI-driven workflows and internal tooling, and another part deploying improvements directly into production.

The ideal candidate takes pride in solving problems without being asked.

Responsibilities

  • Build and deploy production-ready solutions inside the core AI platform.
  • Develop AI-powered automations and internal tools that improve operations.
  • Support customer API integrations and onboarding efforts.
  • Partner with Customer Success to solve technical customer challenges.
  • Work directly with customers during implementation and technical discovery calls.
  • Improve onboarding and implementation workflows through automation.
  • Identify recurring problems and proactively build scalable AI-driven solutions.
  • 3-5+ years of software engineering experience in AI, automation, infrastructure, platform, or backend environments.
  • Strong software engineering fundamentals. Python experience is preferred, but the ability to quickly learn unfamiliar systems, contribute to production codebases, and ship solutions independently is more important than expertise in any specific technology stack.

  • Experience working in production environments and supporting real-world customer implementations.

  • Ability to quickly understand unfamiliar codebases, leverage AI development tools effectively, and contribute with minimal oversight.

  • Startup experience with a builder mentality and bias toward action.

  • Experience building APIs, backend services, AI workflows, automations, or internal tooling.

  • Comfortable working directly with customers, technical teams, and business stakeholders.
