Its technical work spans machine learning, real-time decisioning, data transformation and analytics, workflow automation and optimisation, and industrial operations technology.

The company's first product is an AI operating system for mining, which converts complex physical operations into adaptive workflows that improve decisions in real time, with plans to extend it to the wider physical world. In a nine-month proof of concept spanning four value centres, a $5m investment was turned into a sustained $100m EBITDA lift for the client.

Skiffra concentrates on real-world physical industries - mining, construction, heavy industry, logistics and material movement, and resource extraction - rather than purely digital sectors, and combines deep industrial execution with venture-scale product discipline. Co-founder Andy Smith has founded, advised, or invested in more than 40 companies and works to a zero-to-one startup-building ethos.
