A little bit about our team:
This role is within the Sodatone team that builds an analytics platform that uses AI and machine learning to identify and evaluate emerging music talent. It leverages data from streaming services, social media, and other sources to help our A&R (Artist and Repertoire) teams identify emerging artists, track trends, and make informed decisions about talent scouting and artist development. In other words, you’ll be working on the product that helped identify artists like CYRIL, Teddy Swims, PinkPanthress, and more!
Your role:
As a Software Engineering Manager you will serve as Technical Lead Manager where you are hands-on and involved in designing and implementing greenfield projects with your team.Here you’ll get to:

About you:

You have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or other related field

You’re a passionate engineering leader, with at least 2 years of experience leading engineering teams of 6-10+ software engineers

You are hands on leader who writes code, conducts code reviews, and is involved in architectural design and strategy work

You communicate effectively and have a proven track record of effective hiring and team building

You thrive in ambiguity and fast-paced, evolving environments

You’re an empathetic leader who builds strong teams
We’d love it if you also had:

Experience with Ruby on Rails, Postgres, TimescaleDB, Snowflake, TypeScript, React, React Native, and AWS. Experience in this tech stack is a plus, although not mandatory.
