Playwright Testing

Experiance - 5yrs to 10yrs

Location - Bangalore , Chennai, Pune, Coimbatore

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation test frameworks using Selenium and Playwright for web applications.
Develop and execute automation scripts using JavaScript with Playwright, ensuring high test coverage and reliability.
Build reusable, maintainable, and efficient automation components aligned with best practices.
Perform functional, regression, and integration testing as part of CI/CD pipelines.
Collaborate closely with developers, QA, and product teams to understand requirements and define test strategies.
Analyze test results, identify root causes, and work with stakeholders to ensure timely defect resolution.
Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes.

Required Skills & Experience

5–10 years of experience in Test Automation using tools such as Selenium and/or Playwright.
Minimum 2+ years of strong hands‑on experience with Playwright.
2+ years of experience in Automation Script Development using JavaScript.
Strong hands‑on experience with Java and solid understanding of Object‑Oriented Programming (OOPs) concepts.
Experience in designing automation frameworks and test utilities from scratch.
Good understanding of test automation best practices, test lifecycle, and defect management.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
Familiarity with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD tools is a plus.
