Destro AI builds the shared intelligence layer that sits between robots, people and enterprise systems in autonomous warehouse and factory operations. Its flagship product, MothershipOS, is an agentic AI engine designed as the operating brain of the warehouse: in real time it decides what, when, where, why and how work gets done, coordinating every robot and human on the floor and reaching down to individual actuator control across heterogeneous robotic systems. The stated aim is the optimisation of entire workflows rather than the isolated performance of any single task.

The engineering premise is deliberately robot-agnostic. Rather than manufacturing hardware, Destro integrates AMRs, robotic arms, forklifts and human workers irrespective of vendor, which places multi-robot orchestration, real-time workflow optimisation and actuator-level control at the centre of the technical work. For engineers inclined towards deployment, the attraction is a system that must behave correctly where physical machinery, enterprise software and human operators meet - with production systems already running alongside large enterprise operators.

The company was founded by former leaders from HAI Robotics, Dexterity and Matic, and closed a seed round at one of the highest valuations for a robotics company at that stage. Its investors have previously backed Brex, Figma, Notion and Instacart. The verticals span warehouse operations, factory operations, logistics, robotics and supply-chain intralogistics.
