Forgepoint

Forgepoint builds AI coworkers for the manufacturing back office, including Frank, an AI inside sales representative that automates quoting and RFQ response for American manufacturers.

Forgepoint builds AI coworkers for the manufacturing back office, a domain where software must meet the operational rigour of the factory floor. The company's stated mission is to give American manufacturers a competitive edge by putting best-in-class technology into factory operations. Its technical work spans AI agents, natural language processing applied to sales communications, enterprise systems integration, manufacturing back-office automation, quoting and RFQ automation, and enterprise security with strict data isolation.

The flagship product, Frank, is an AI Inside Sales Representative designed specifically for manufacturers. It gathers requirements, builds accurate quotes, responds to RFQs, and manages customer communications around the clock. Reported outcomes include quote turnaround 91% faster than manual processes, more than 40 hours saved per sales representative each month, and deployment timelines of under 30 days.

The engineering position is defined by two commitments. First, an explicit no rip-and-replace philosophy: the platform integrates with incumbent enterprise systems including Epicor, NetSuite, SAP, Sage, Infor, Syspro and Acumatica. Second, an enterprise-grade security posture, with SOC 2 Type II certification, encryption at rest and in transit, and strict data isolation between customer organisations.

Forgepoint serves manufacturers across injection molding, steel mills, metal foundries, metal service centres, metal fabricators, metal stampers, coating and heat treat operations, CNC machining, forging and fasteners. The company is backed by Andreessen Horowitz's a16z Speedrun programme and maintains offices in New York City and San Francisco.
